Scientific Units at GRC

Geohazards Research Center has four main units that focus in conducting research in major hazards area i.e. Earthquakes, Volcanology, Flooding and Landslides. The units at GRC are interdisciplinary in nature. Some projects at GRC need each unit to support other units and provide input and data analysis to other units and support each other in the areas of research. The GIS unit is responsible for providing the projects of GRC with maps and satellite images. GIS unit also pinpoints the locations of survey sites during the field trips.
