Geohazards Research Center plans to conduct a series of scientific seminars and lectures starting early next year. The seminars would be of two categories - 1) Scientific based seminars and 2) Educational based seminars.
Scientific seminars would be held for people associated with research work in Geohazards and will focus purely on the scientific aspects of Geohazards.
Educational seminars will target people from Civil Defence, Hazards management teams and the likes of such people who might be interested in availing training and awareness about various Geohazards. These seminars will focus on clearing the misconceptions and focus on educating the citizens about various types of hazards.
